Who we are

Sofia AC is an online catalog for inverter air conditioners, multisplit systems and heat pumps with installation and service in Sofia. The site operates in partnership with Lak Klima Ltd., the installation company that fulfils orders and installation requests. Our contact details are listed at the bottom of this page.

What personal data we collect

We only collect data that you yourself provide through the forms on the site — when submitting a quote request, order, or enquiry. This includes:

  • Full name or contact name
  • Phone number
  • Email address (when provided)
  • Installation or delivery address
  • Information about the product or service you are enquiring about
  • Message or additional notes, if you have added any

We do not collect payment data directly — online payments are processed through a licensed payment operator and are not stored by us.

How we use your data

The data you provide is used solely for:

  • Processing and fulfilling your request or order
  • Contacting you to clarify order details
  • Issuing an invoice or other accounting document when required
  • Responding to questions or enquiries

We do not send marketing emails without your explicit consent and do not sell data to third parties.

Retention period

Data related to orders and invoices is retained for the period required by Bulgarian accounting and tax legislation — typically 5 to 10 years depending on the type of document. Data from enquiries without an order is kept for a reasonable period to clarify any subsequent questions, after which it is deleted.

Sharing with third parties

Your data is not sold, rented or disclosed to third parties for commercial purposes. It may be shared only in the following cases:

  • Lak Klima Ltd. — the installation company fulfilling installation and service requests. Data is shared only to the extent necessary to perform the service.
  • Courier companies and suppliers — when equipment delivery is required.
  • Google (Google Ads) — only if you have accepted the analytics and advertising cookies: the email address and phone number from a sent request, in hashed (one-way encrypted) form, to measure which of our ads lead to requests.
  • Competent authorities — where required by law.

Cookies and analytics tools

The site may use analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) to understand how it is used — how many visitors there are, which pages are popular, and so on — and Google Ads to measure the results of our advertising. These tools may place cookies on your device.

On your first visit we inform you about cookies and you can accept or decline the analytics and advertising ones. If you decline, no such cookies are placed and Google receives only anonymous signals without cookies or identifiers (Google Consent Mode). Necessary cookies required for the site to function (such as saving your consent choice) are placed regardless of your choice.

More information about cookies can be found on our Cookies page.

Your rights

Under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of data when it is no longer needed
  • Restrict processing in certain circumstances
  • Receive your data in a portable format
